Tip 1: Sensory Bin Fillers
Use almost anything in your bins. Be sensitive to the child’s sensory preferences and needs. Create wet, dry, edible, and nature bins! Check out the examples to the right!
Tip 2: Sensory Bin Themes
Create your bin to fit the season, holiday, favorite sport or TV show. Build rapport and get the buy in. Check out the examples to the left!
Tip 3: Sensory Bin Vocabulary
Expand vocabulary by talking about your senses. Most of the examples are adjectives! What do you see, feel, smell, and hear? Check out the examples to the right!
